RSMSSB Lab Assistant Preparation Guide

RSMSSB's Lab Assistant recruitment splits evenly between Rajasthan-specific general knowledge and your science subject — two full-length papers, each worth as much as the other.

Exam Pattern

Two papers of 200 questions/200 marks each (400 marks total), 2 hours per paper: Paper I is General Knowledge of Rajasthan, and Paper II is the concerned Science subject. Each carries 1/3rd negative marking.

Preparation Strategy

Give both papers equal preparation time: Since they're equally weighted, don't let subject-matter confidence in Paper II crowd out Paper I preparation.
Build deep Rajasthan-specific General Knowledge: Paper I leans heavily on state geography, history and polity — national-level GK material under-covers this.
