SSC JE Preparation Guide 2026

Overview

SSC JE (Junior Engineer) recruits Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers for departments like CPWD, MES, BRO, and Central Water Commission. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

Exam Pattern

SSC JE has 2 stages:

1. Paper I (CBT)

Objective, computer-based test covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Engineering (discipline-specific) — 2 hours.

2. Paper II (Descriptive)
