IB Security Assistant (Executive) recruits into field/executive roles within the Intelligence Bureau, involved in ground-level intelligence gathering. It is conducted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs.

Exam Pattern

IB Security Assistant has 3 stages:

1. Tier I (Objective CBT)

Objective paper on General Awareness/Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Language (English/Hindi).

2. Tier II (Descriptive)

Descriptive test evaluating language and comprehension skills.

3. Interview & Document Verification

Final personal interview and verification stage.
