IB MTS Preparation Guide 2026

Overview

IB MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) recruits support staff for the Intelligence Bureau, India's internal intelligence agency. It is conducted by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs.

Exam Pattern

IB MTS has 3 stages:

1. Tier I (Objective CBT)

Objective paper on General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English Language.

2. Tier II (Descriptive)

Descriptive test in English or Hindi.

3. Document Verification / Interview

Final verification stage before appointment.
