Overview

Airforce Group Y recruits Agniveer Vayu for non-technical trades in the Indian Air Force, open to candidates from any academic stream at the 12th level. It is conducted by the Indian Air Force, under the Agnipath scheme.

Exam Pattern

Airforce Group Y has 3 stages:

1. Online Written Test

Objective test on English, and Reasoning & General Awareness.

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Running and physical fitness assessment as per IAF standards.

3. Adaptability Test & Medical Examination

Psychological adaptability assessment followed by a medical fitness check.

Preparation Strategy

1. Learn the Exact Stage Sequence: Airforce Group Y has 3 stages (Online Written Test → Physical Fitness Test (PFT) → Adaptability Test & Medical Examination) — know what each stage tests before you start preparing so you don't over-invest in the wrong one first.
