Eligibility criteria
Van Rakshak and Kshetra Rakshak: Class 10 High School examination passed; listed height requirement is 163 cm for men and 150 cm for women.
Jail Prahari: Class 10 High School examination passed; listed height requirement is 165 cm for men and 158 cm for women. The listed physical tests include an 800-metre race in 2 minutes 50 seconds for men and 4 minutes for women, and shot put of 20 feet for men and 16 feet for women.
Jail Superintend: Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university in India; listed height requirement is 168 cm for men and 155 cm for women.
