Super TET (Uttar Pradesh Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam) is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) for recruitment of Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5) in UP government schools. Candidates who have passed graduation with D.El.Ed (BTC) or B.Ed and have qualified either UPTET (Paper 1) or CTET (Paper 1) are eligible to appear.

Super TET consists of a single objective paper with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for 150 marks, to be completed in 150 minutes (2.5 hours). Each correct answer awards 1 mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The Super TET syllabus covers 10 sections: Language (Hindi, English, Sanskrit - 40 marks), Mathematics (20 marks), Science (10 marks), Environment & Social Study (10 marks), Teaching Skills (10 marks), Child Psychology (10 marks), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30 marks), Logical Reasoning (5 marks), Information Technology (5 marks), and Life Skill/Management & Aptitude (10 marks).

The final merit is calculated on a 100-point scale: 10% from High School, 10% from Intermediate, 10% from Graduation, 10% from Teacher Training (D.El.Ed/B.Ed), and 60% weightage from the candidate's score in the Super TET written examination.

The qualifying marks established in recent Super TET recruitment rounds are 65% (97 out of 150 marks) for General category candidates and 60% (90 out of 150 marks) for reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) candidates.
