Preparation Strategy
- Map Every Section to Time: HTET Level 1 (Classes 1–5) splits 150 questions across 5 sections in 150 minutes — decide a per-section time budget before test day so no single section eats your buffer.
- Prioritize the Syllabus by Weight: Focus first on Child Development & Pedagogy and Hindi Language (15 questions), then move to English Language (15 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (10 questions), Reasoning Ability (10 questions), Haryana GK & Awareness (10 questions), Mathematics, Environmental Studies — these are the subjects tested in the actual paper structure.
- Attempt Every Question: There is no negative marking in HTET Level 1 (Classes 1–5), so an educated guess never costs you — never leave a question blank.
- Simulate the Real Timer: Take full-length 150-minute mock tests on YourMockTest under exam conditions before attempting the real HTET Level 1 (Classes 1–5) — pacing under pressure is a separate skill from knowing the syllabus.
- Review Every Mistake: After each mock, spend more time reviewing wrong answers than attempting new questions — a repeated mistake in practice is a guaranteed mistake in the real exam.
