  • This type of inflorescence is found in Labiatae/Lamiaceae family.
  • In this type of inflorescence, leaves are arranged in an opposite manner on the stem
  • From the axil of each leaf, inflorescence develops.
  • From the main axis, the lateral axis arises, on which flowers are found.
  • Now from these branches, lateral branches develop also which bear flowers.
  • In this type of inflorescence, each dichasial cyme changes into monochasia (scorpoid) cyme.

Hypanthodium: 

  • In this type of inflorescence, peduncle is modified into a narrow closed cup-like structure having a pore (ostiole).

Concept​:

.Spores:
