In this question, a passage and a statement related to it have been given. Read the passage carefully and criticize the statement based on it.
In the Udham Singhnagar district of Uttarakhand, the strong olfactory power is known as a boon for the police to curb the illegal liquor business. These animals discovered laughing, a substance used for making liquor, which was kept hidden in the forest of Khatima and destroyed it. To avoid the raids of the police, the liquor makers used to work in the vicinity of the drains, near deep forests or around villages, because they require water for fermentation.
Lohan is closed by filling in barrels or polythene bags and pressed into the ground for four to five days for fermentation. Khatima Police Station Inspector Yogesh Upadhyay said that elephants reach the place only after smell of this substance and destroy the barrels to drink this drug. He told that some traders make the barrels hidden there by making scaffolds on the trees, but police reach them easily. "We have destroyed thousands of liters of linen in the last 2-3 months. The scaffold was deposited in barrels, "said Inspector Yogesh Upadhyay. He said that "illegal businessmen kept the barrels of lahns on trees to keep them away from the reach of elephants." Elephants also found it from there and destroyed barrels to drink alcohol, causing heavy losses to the wine makers ". A villager said, "Alcohol in villages is sold for 80 to 100 rupees per liter. Because it is cheaper than alcohol available in the market, so people know it about its bad effect on health. Elephants are playing a very important role in curbing this trade. "
Statement : Water is not required for fermentation of drug, alcohol.
