A very common bird is the House Sparrow. Sparrows prefer to coexist with humans. They make themselves comfortable in houses, and as a rule they are a disturbance. Sparrows are typically seen in pairs, and multiple pairs can be observed at once. They are brown in colour with a whitish front and a mix of white and black on the back and sides. A black spot covers the male sparrow's throat.
Sparrows consume plant tender shoots, insects, and grain. Additionally, they enjoy cooked food. They construct nests on window sills, the tops of doors and almirahs, in nooks and crevices, and anywhere else they can find space. Their nests can be found in the oddest places, even inside the folds of hanging curtains, in holes and niches in walls, roofs, and other structures. The mother bird lays three or four eggs which are a pale greenish-white. Sparrows are known to have multiple births per year.
